Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego declared Dec. 11 National Council of Jewish Women Arizona Day

Thank you to everyone who attended Sunday, Dec 11, National Council for Jewish Women Arizona’s Making Change Happen with Government Officials and a Diverse Group of Community Leaders.

Speakers included Representative Greg Stanton, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, and National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) CEO Sheila Katz, who recognized the impact this organization has had for over 100 years in the Valley of the Sun.

NCJW AZ has been behind the establishment of Jewish Family Children’s Services, Child Crisis Center, and CASA (the Court Appointed Special Advocate office). We now are working to open Ruth Place, a dedicated, comprehensive sexual violence trauma recovery center.

A special thanks to Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, who Presented the City Proclamation naming December 11th National Council for Jewish Woman Day in Phoenix.
